FIELDS FULL OF LIFEWHISKY FULL OF FLAVOUR

Most grains in whisky are grown industrially, with chemicals:
same grain, same height, same flavour.

Not on our farms.

We’re regenerating England’s fields with heritage grains, grown in clover (we never, ever use chemicals). It’s a more sustainable way of farming that’s better for the soil, the grain and the wildlife. And it makes a whisky full of flavour.

Regenerative Farming | Heritage Grains

HOW WE’RE CHANGING FARMING FOR THE BETTER

For the soil, the wildlife and our whisky

We’re here to champion regenerative farming, whilst making distinctly delicious whisky. Our fields are both where we work and why we started Fielden. But what is regenerative farming? At its heart, regenerative farming is about working with nature, not against it.
For us, it means five things.

We never use chemicals.

We nurture the soil naturally.

We grow our grain in clover - a natural fertiliser.

We grow mixed crops of diverse heritage grains.

We don’t plough or clear our fields after harvest.

It’s a more sustainable way of farming that’s better for the soil, the grain and the wildlife.
And from fields full of life, comes whisky full of flavour.
