THE FINESTINGREDIENTS IN THE LAND
From the purest Lake District water to the best orange tree in the country, the perfect English Old Fashioned demands only the finest ingredients.
Inspired by Charlie’s stirring quest? Now it’s your turn.
For the perfect old fashioned, you need the perfect whisky. Working with heritage grains, our whiskies are naturally sweet and distinctly delicious. Think warm flaky pastry, butter and caramel.
Our grains grow deeper roots and take in more nutrients, so they’re full of flavour. It means we’re putting the best (completely natural) ingredients into our stills.
We grow our heritage grains in clover - a natural fertiliser - so there's no need for chemicals. We nurture the soil, and make space for nature. It’s a more sustainable way of farming that’s better for the soil, the grain and the wildlife, allowing life to thrive above & below ground.

HOW WE’RE CHANGING FARMING FOR THE BETTER
We’re here to champion regenerative farming, whilst making distinctly delicious whisky. Our fields are both where we
work and why we started Fielden. But what is regenerative farming? At its heart, regenerative farming is about
working with nature, not against it.
For us, it means five things.
We never use chemicals.
We nurture the soil naturally.
We grow our grain in clover - a natural fertiliser.
We grow mixed crops of diverse heritage grains.
We don’t plough or clear our fields after harvest.
It’s a more sustainable way of farming that’s better for the soil, the grain and the wildlife.
And from fields full of life, comes whisky full of flavour.
